HEY TOMORROW & KOERNER BROTHERS 2021 ROSÉ 2L
Grapes have been central to the Koerner family for over forty years, with Christine and Anthony Koerner farming and selling their Gullyview Vineyard fruit in the Clare Valley. Jump forward a generation, brothers Damon and Jono have opened the winemaking story.
Having only begun their winemaking partnership in 2014, following time working in France at vineyards in Alsace, Chablis and Corsica, the brothers have quickly emerged as stars of the Australian wine scene.
They make wines of high drinkability and vibrance, achieved through their philosophy of early picking and minimal intervention winemaking.
They are winners of 2019 Young Gun of Wine.
What's in the box?
Our newest rosé is another banger from the Koerner Brothers. A blend of syrah and merlot from the Adelaide Hills, the grapes spend 24 hours on skins giving the wine a beautiful blush. The wine ferments in a mix of Solvenian oak foudre and ceramic egg, then matures for 4 months on lees. This gorgeous pink wine is dry, textural and bursting with red and blue berry fruits, subtle herbal undertones and tangy acidity.
